MEMORABILIA

A memorable technological partnership

Itway and One Identity are pleased to invite you to a memorable event.
We look forward to seeing you on 16 November, from 17:00 to 21:00, at the striking location of Memorabilia in Milan, Agrate Brianza.
We will tell you about this new partnership: Itway sees an opportunity for growth in the Identity Security market and One Identity sees in Itway a very strong and credible System Integrator in the discipline.

AGENDA

  • Ore 17.00 Welcoming
    Massimo Fanelli
    Deputy General Manager Itway
  • Identity is the new Endpoint.
    Privileges are the new Vulnerabilities.
    Francesco Faenzi
Deputy Business Unit Manager Cyber Security Itway

Business dictates the timing and priorities of Digital Transformation. Cyber Security is often not integrated into these ‘high-speed’ projects. This leads not only to a growing backlog of vulnerabilities, but above all to a stratification of misconfigurations: ‘the skeletons in the IT wardrobe’. Even Cloud Transformation does not mitigate the problem of misconfigurations, whereas the Shared Responsibility model of Hyperscalers reduces that of vulnerabilities. The wardrobes with the most skeletons are Identity Providers (IdPs), the ‘security engines’ where it is defined ‘who accesses what resources, when, why’ and whose configuration is always the responsibility of IT, even more so in the Cloud. Active Directory and Domain Controllers are the king of IdPs.
Welcome to Game  Domain of Thrones.

  • Countermeasures, PAM on AD, achieved through the combination of Safeguard and ActiveRoles.
    Diego Pretini
    Channel Manager Italia One Identity
    Massimiliano Micucci
Regional Sales Manager Italia e Israele One Identity

It all starts with directories, in particular Microsoft directories.
Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) contain accounts, computers and resources that form the cornerstone of any IT security infrastructure. An increasing number of organisations are coming to the conclusion that Active Directory, however ‘legacy’, is more crucial than ever and see Active Directory in the same light as mainframes: it will not disappear anytime soon. The challenge for IT security professionals is to ensure that the security and protection of Active Directory is commensurate with the criticality of this infrastructure, which is often not fully perceived.

  • One Identity Active Roles at the real world
    Matteo De Bernardin
    Cybersecurity Consultant Itway

Through the Itway workshop, some use cases of Active Roles implementation and use are presented to see live and touch how the solution works (really!) and represents added value in different business situations.
